Necklace Length in Inches Chart
 | Unsure which necklace length is the “right” length to choose? Is there even such a thing as the “right” necklace length? Our length & style guide can help you make your decision.
Basic Necklace Style Rule: Consider your necklace as a frame, which designates the area of attention. Shorter chain lengths will keep the attention on the face, while a long and/or heavy necklace will direct eyes to the décolletage. If you want all eyes elsewhere, wear a smaller charm necklace that can serve as an arrow, directing eyes to the focal point of your choice.
Common Questions:
1. How will I know what the necklace will look like on me? 2. Do I need to consider my dress/outfit when choosing a necklace length?
How will I know what the necklace will look like on me?
Most necklaces start at 16 inches, and many are adjustable in case you need a smaller fit. Most women will find that a 16-inch necklace fits like a choker, snug against the neck. If you are petite or especially slender, a 16-inch necklace might hang down to your collarbone.
An 18-inch necklace will fit the average woman well, and will fall at the collarbone. For plus size women, this chain length will probably fit more like a choker. If you're looking for something with a little more breathing room, you can also select a necklace that is 20, 22, 24, or 30 inches. Depending on your size, these chain lengths will hang between your collarbone and the top of your rib cage.
Do I need to consider my dress/outfit when choosing a necklace length?
Knowing what outfit you will be wearing with what necklace does make a difference, as every necklace and length will have a different impact on an ensemble and vice versa. For example, if you have a deep plunging neckline, a pendant on a 30-inch chain could disappear in your cleavage. As a general rule, reserve the longer necklace lengths for turtlenecks, boat necks, cowl necks, and basic tees. Low cut and/or detailed necklines work best with chokers and necklaces that sit close to the neck.

What is my bracelet size?
If you would like to determine your bracelet size, follow the simple instructions below. 1. Loosely wrap a measuring tape or string around the base of your wrist, along the wrist bone. 2. If you are interested in a Bangle bracelet (with no clasp or stretch), loosely wrap a measuring tape of string around your knuckles. 3. Using the chart below, take the measurement of your wrist and add the appropriate amount listed for the desired fit and opening size of the bracelet.

What are the different bracelet styles?
Bracelets come in a variety of styles and sizes. Bangle bracelets are the shape of a continuous circle with no clasps or hinges. If your fingers and knuckles are larger than your wrist, Bangles can pose a problem, making it difficult to slide on and off. For example, an 8-inch Bangle might easily fit over your 7.5-inch wrist, but getting it past your 8.5-inch hand might be a challenge. If you do find this to be a problem, there are many other wonderful bracelet styles to choose from. Toggle bracelets, Tennis bracelets, and Cuff bracelets are not only fantastic alternatives, but also brilliant choices
What bracelet style goes with what outfit?
Your outfit can have a significant impact when deciding on a bracelet length. In general, long sleeves look best with a loose fitting Toggle or a Bangle bracelet. Outfits with short sleeves or bare arms give you more flexibility to wear different styles, so try out a Cuff bracelet or wrap a Tennis bracelet for a fun look.
